Welcome to Image Upscaler AI Enhancer ("the App"), an AI-powered image enhancement tool that lets you upscale, denoise, color-boost, and auto-fix your photos directly on your device.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App. By using Image Upscaler AI Enhancer, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve the App experience:

• Photos you select: Images you choose for enhancement are processed locally on your device or transmitted to our AI backend solely to perform the requested operation (upscale, denoise, color boost, auto fix). We do not store your images on our servers.
• Usage data: Anonymous, aggregated data about which enhancement features are used (e.g., 2x Upscale, AI Enhance) to help us improve the App. This data cannot identify you personally.
• Device information: Basic device type and OS version collected automatically for crash reporting and compatibility purposes.
• Advertising identifiers: The App uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect your advertising identifier (IDFA) subject to your device-level tracking preferences.

The App requests access to your photo library solely to allow you to select images for enhancement and to save enhanced results back to your device. We do not scan, index, upload, or share your photo library.

Our app may process user-provided photos that contain faces only to perform requested image enhancement features.

We do not use face data for face recognition, identity verification, authentication, or biometric profiling.

• To perform AI image enhancements you request (upscaling, denoising, color boost, auto fix)
• To display the before/after comparison in the Compare tab
• To store enhanced images in your Gallery within the App
• To display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob
• To analyze anonymized usage patterns and improve App performance
• To diagnose crashes and fix technical issues

The App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob – Displays ads within the App. AdMob may collect and use data as described in Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
• Cloudflare Workers AI – Powers our cloud-based AI image enhancement processing. Images sent for cloud processing are handled per Cloudflare's Privacy Policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
• Apple App Store – Download and payment processing managed by Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy: apple.com/legal/privacy

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties. Your photos are never shared with advertisers or data brokers.

We may share anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify any individual user. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

• Processed images: Deleted from our servers immediately after enhancement is complete and delivered to your device.
• Gallery images: Stored locally on your device only. Deleting the App removes all locally stored gallery data.
• Usage analytics: Anonymized data retained for up to 12 months for product improvement purposes.
• Crash logs: Retained for up to 90 days and then automatically deleted.

Image Upscaler AI Enhancer is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.

We take the security of your data seriously. All image data transmitted to our AI processing backend uses HTTPS encryption. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure of information.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Photo access: You can revoke photo library access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
• Ad tracking: You can limit ad tracking through iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Gallery data: You can clear your in-app gallery at any time using the "Clear device photos" option in the App.
• GDPR / CCPA: If you are located in the EU or California, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by contacting us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
